1. Who we are
Estimatik is an AI-powered resale value estimator for the US secondhand market, operated by Messaoud Berrabah, solo founder based in France. You can contact us at: contact@estimatik.com
2. What data we collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service:
- Email address — collected when you create an account, used solely for authentication and service notifications.
- Photos you upload — processed in real time to generate a price estimate. Photos are not stored after analysis.
- Usage data — number of scans per day, used to enforce free tier limits. No browsing history or tracking.
- Payment data — handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy (our payment processor). We never see or store your credit card details.
3. How we use your data
- To authenticate your account and manage your subscription
- To enforce the free scan limit (5 scans/day on the free plan)
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
- We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Third-party services
- Supabase — authentication and usage tracking (servers in the EU)
- OpenAI — image analysis via GPT-4o (images are not stored by OpenAI after processing)
- eBay Browse API — fetching real sold listing prices
- Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and subscription management
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
5. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are based in the EU, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@estimatik.com. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Data retention
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
7. Cookies
Estimatik uses only functional cookies necessary for authentication (session token). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Any significant changes will be communicated by email to registered users.
